Cozumel Island has a small airport, which only allows access to small air transports, such as small planes, private jets and helicopters. Well, this is an option to reach the island and avoid the almost 1 hour trip by sea. However, it should be noted that the cost is usually a little higher than the ferry crossing.

And this means of transportation to Cozumel will leave you near the fifth avenue of Playa del Carmen, where you have to find your way to the maritime terminal of Playa. ADO is a shared transportation service, where you and several other people will get on a truck or a van that will take you to the fifth avenue of Playa del Carmen.
